Since its release, the movie Adipurush has been receiving backlash, criticism, and trolling. Viewers believe that this movie is a waste of money and is hurtful to Hindu sentiments. The audience is criticising the VFX effects, dialogues, costumes, etc. People feel that the dialogues are insulting and the whole movie is making fun of the holy book Ramayana. There are few dialogues in the movie that have become very controversial and people are not at all happy with it. There were a lot of appeals to the maker to change the dialogues.
Audience felt that the dialogues are rather ” tapori”. Viewers felt Hanuman Ji would never speak in such a way. Even the director was threatened by some people and was given security amidst the backlash. Recently, it was announced that some dialogues of the movie have been edited and changed to respect the audience’s demands. Here are the old and their edited versions-

Om Raut’s Adipurush after receiving so many criticisms managed to cross Rs 300 crore mark. Even after the trolling, people have been going to watch the movie. Appeals were made to Prime Minister Modi to ban the movie, but no action was taken.
