Anchor Aamir Liaquat’s Body To Be Removed From Grave! Pakistan Court Orders Post-mortem

Popular Pakistani television anchor Aamir Liaquat died on 9 June 2022 and the reason behind his death was believed to be a cardiac arrest. Police then had asked for a postmortem of the body to know the exact reason for his death, but Aamir’s family did not allow the same.

Aamir’s body was cremated a day after the anchor bid farewell to the world. But now, his name has caught the attention of all once again. He is all around news stories after Karachi court-ordered post-mortem of the deceased.

As per the reports, a citizen named Abdul Ahad had moved the court to request a post mortem of Aamir’s body. He hoped that suspicions and uncertainties about the TV host’s death may be cleared up.

Aamir’s grave will be exhumed on 23 June as per the orders of the Pakistan court. 

Various Pakistani artists including actors are condemning the order or the court and have expressed their disappointment. Netizens are also opposing the court’s decision as many people believe digging his grave will hurt his children and family.
