31 year old ‘fartrepreneur’ Stephanie Matto who has earlier grabbed several headlines for earning $200,000 by farting in jars has now again marked her name. But this time it’s different. As a former reality TV Star was rushed to the emergency room after she showed symptoms of a heart attack. However, she later learnt that she was experiencing chest pains due to excess gas.
She told Jam Press, ‘I thought I was having a stroke and that these were my final moments. I was overdoing it.’
Stephanie then recalled how she consumed three protein shakes and a huge bowl of black bean soup in one day, before feeling that ‘something was not right’ with a pressure in her stomach that moved upwards throughout her body.
‘It was quite hard to breathe and every time I tried to breathe in I’d feel a pinching sensation around my heart,’ she explained.
Further, she added ‘of course that made my anxiety escalate. I actually called my friend and asked if they could come over to drive me to the hospital because I thought I was experiencing a heart attack.’

Meanwhile, ‘it was made clear that what I was experiencing wasn’t a stroke or heart attack but very intense gas pains,’ she said.
‘I was advised to change my diet and to take a gas suppressant medication, which has effectively ended my business.’
Now Stephanie has to retire from selling farts in a jar which is a ‘relief’ to her family but she has managed to find another unique way of making money from it.
She took to social media and revealed that she is now getting into the NFT market and selling her “fart jars” as digital pieces of art instead of the actual air itself.
Now people are guessing if anyone is actually willing to buy a fart in a jar, they will be willing to drop a few bucks on a digital art version too!
