Gurnam Bhullar might have invited trouble for himself with his latest song ‘Jija Saali’. Not only Gurnam, the lyricist of the song Gill Raunta is also facing backlash for the type of language used in the song. The driver’s community all over the world have been disappointed as the song calls them illiterate and senseless.
The song was released a few days ago. Though it was doing well in terms of Youtube views, the song did not seem to go well with the international driver’s community. The community blamed the lyricist and the singer of the song for using such ‘disrespectful’ and ‘hurting’ language for them.

Social media flooded with Truck Drivers from Canada, Australia, US and all over the world condemning the song’s views about the driver community. The community said that they work day and night, drive for hundreds of kilometers in all types of weathers and terrains and get to hear that they are illiterate and senseless!
The whole community has been deeply hurt by the song. They are demanding an official apology from the singer and the lyricist of the song and want the song to be taken down as soon as possible. The song was released through Diamondstar Worldwide production. Gurnam Bhullar featured as the composer and the vocalist, Gill Raunta as the lyricist and Laddi Chahal as the music producer of the song.
Despite facing worldwide backlash, there has been no response from Gurnam, Gill Raunta or the music label yet. The team has not reacted to the issue and it’s been over 3 days since it started gaining fire. Further updates on the issue will be provided as soon as they are made public.
